Home Improvements Made Easy {with Build.com}

I received product from Build.com in exchange for this review. All expressed opinions are 100% my own. Full Disclosure Policy.

If you are a long time follower of mine, you probably know that my husband and I are renovating our 1930's home that we bought back in 2010. If you are new here, you can read more about that on my home tour page. One of the rooms in our home, that needs the most upgrading is our kitchen. We have been pretty slow at getting things remodeled to our personal style, but recently I discovered Build.com which has helped us along in the process! I shared a sneak peek of our latest addition in my Holiday Home Tour last week.
When I went the site for the first time, I couldn't believe the wide array of products that they offer. No matter your style or what you are looking for to remodel your home, it is more than likely they will have it.

I have been desperate to change out the faucet in our kitchen since we moved in. My husband wanted a commercial style, industrial looking one, which I found pretty quickly on the website. I knew the Kraus  Commercial Style Pot Filler Kitchen Faucet with Pre Rinse Spray would be the perfect addition for our "rustic industrial" kitchen remodel. This particular one came with a soap dispenser which I also really wanted.
It arrived quickly and was packaged very well. My husband was so excited about it (maybe even more than me?), that he immediately took it out of the box and got it installed that night. It is amazing how one small change can make a whole room feel better. I can see our stamp on this kitchen more and more each day (instead of the boring, generic look it had when we moved in).
Build.com helped us realize this goal by providing a great product that we are proud to have in our home. Just look at the difference...
And it's funny, how one thing like that can get you motivated to do more. There are so many improvements that I would like to make to this kitchen. Next on our list is upgrading our countertops and installing a new sink. This beautiful faucet needs a proper sink!

A great feature on their site that I (as a bargain hunter) appreciate is their "Deal of the Week." I know I will be scouring that page to see if there is something we could use to improve this old house of ours. I also love their Learning Center where you can get inspiration, design advice and instructions for so many different kinds of products and projects all in one place.

If you have been contemplating making some renovations to your home whether big or small, I highly recommend Build.com. On each product page, there are different sections with PDF instructions, installation videos, Q&A, reviews, and product specialist contact information help. They will have you covered no matter what you need.

Stay tuned for more kitchen improvements coming from me in the new year. We are working away at it little by little as time allows! I can't wait to get it all finished to show you the final reveal.

Till next time...
~Alice W.
