Sundays at Home will Return Next Week!

Life sure does get busy once summer is over! I know that most of you are popping in right now to link up to our Sundays at Home link party, but due to lots going on for both of us and myself being under the weather, Susan and I are postponing the party until next week. We apologize from the bottom of our hearts for any inconvenience, and hope you will understand!
My sweet little Hazel started Pre-K last week (insert crying face here!). It was a huge change, but honestly, it has been a wonderful one for all of us.
I am getting up much earlier than I had previously and getting so much more done during the day, Owen and I get some one-on-one time which is awesome, and every day when I pick up Hazel, she tells us what a fun morning she had. Win-Win-Win. Here are some pics from her first day...she was definitely excited!
Owen said he "didn't miss her" at all those first days of school...but he asked me almost every twenty minutes where she was and was more than eager to get going when it was time to pick her up!
But with all of the changes, and my blogging calendar filling up so fast, (not to mention both kiddos and myself coming down with colds this past week), life is hectic at the moment. Hopefully it will get easier to get into a groove soon.

Please come back next week to link up your latest and greatest with us. We can't wait! We will share features from the last link-up then.

If you want to check out what I had to share last week in the meantime, here is a little preview...

I shared a Fall Mantel Vignette with a free printable and links to 22 more to get you inspired for autumn!

I also shared a round up of some of my favorite Rustic Bohemian Light Fixtures. Check out the post and let me know your favorite!

That's all for now. Back to resting, till I shake this cold. Next week I will be sharing my fall home tour with you on Tuesday and Thursday, so make sure you come back!

Till next time...
~Alice W.

  1. The kiddos are so cute! Hope you are all feeling better soon. Colds and viruses are usally everywhere once all the kids get back to school.

  3. Your daughter looked adorable on her first day of school! I love the look on your son's face, real cute! Hope you feel better. I find zinc helps colds go away faster or not start at all. Try Zicam rapid melts, they work for me! Have a restful weekend!
