Deer Antler Ring Holder

I have always loved jewelry and have a thing for finding unique ways to display all of it. A couple of weeks ago, I showed a glimpse into our new bedroom with some simple storage ideas for jewelry including a real deer antler.
I picked this antler up from an antique mall for $10 and decorated with it from time to time. Then when I saw this idea (affiliate link*) from Urban Outfitters, I knew that it was exactly what I wanted to do with it.

It holds my cocktail rings, engagement ring and wedding band (which I currently don't wear much because they only fit on my pinky after having my second child...guess I better hit the gym or get them resized). A chunky bracelet fit on the end as well.
That's all it took! I didn't do anything to this antler or add to it in any way...just put it on my dresser, put some jewelry on it...and voila. It's a really simple idea that adds a natural element to my jewelry organization. I love how it looks on my vintage dresser.
Here is a round up of faux antlers that could easily be used as jewelry holders if you can't get your hands on a real one or just prefer the faux route.

Till next time...

  1. How lovely Alice! Antlers are so nice and to use them as a ring display is a great idea!

  2. Cute idea!! I have several antlers. Thanks for a great idea.

  3. I love this idea, decorative and functional, too!

  4. Such a great idea! I have some that aren't pulling their weight, just laying around. Now they can do double duty! I would love it if you could share this with our link party that is live Dishing It & Digging It.

    Have a great day!

  5. What a great idea and such a gorgeous, pretty look. I think I'm now obsessed!
