I have been enjoying a bit of break from blogging and social media, so nothing new from me last week! Sometimes it’s just nice to rest from all of the busyness and pressure this type of work can bring and enjoy time away. That’s what I will be doing for a bit. We were struck by the beauty and femininity of this spring vignette by Meg of My Vintage Life.

Doesn’t this image pull you in, as if an extraordinary woman just stepped away after putting on some lovely perfume? Can almost get a waft of the scent…

Love little accent tables – bet we all do. I know I can’t pass one up at a yard sale.
Now I want to transform my stash of tables just like Ashlea of Mamma’s Dance did this little darling!

Talk about transformations – you have to click thru and see what this stool looked like before.
Only a visionary DIY’er would have brought that sad stool home. But look what Jenny of Paint Yourself a Smile did to it!

And here is my own fourth feature! I am absolutely enamored with Anita’s home from Far Above Rubies! Check out her awesome living room with a mid century find and how she incorporated Mongolian fur into the mix.
