Welcome to my fall home tour for 2016! This is by far one of my favorite posts every year. The textures, colors and "feelings of fall" go hand in hand with my personal style. Today, I am excited to be joining Lindsay of The White Buffalo Styling Co. and her 'Blogger Stylin' Home Tours'! It is a privilege to join these talented women. Today's first tour was Bliss at Home, so make sure you head over to visit her if you missed it! And be sure to visit the rest of the participants at the end of this post. You won't be disappointed.
Are you ready for the tour? Let's get started!

Fall Home Tour: The Porch & Kitchen
Welcome to the first installment of my fall home tour for 2015! If you came by way of Cozy Little House, I am thrilled you popped in for a visit. Be sure to head back over if you missed Brenda's tour. Today, I will be giving you a tour of our front porch and a rarely seen room on my blog…the kitchen!
I hope you enjoy your visit here today and do come back on Thursday, when I will share my second installment with the living room and dining room tours.
Let's get started…my husband and our two small children live in a tiny town just outside of Rochester, NY. The weather has been all over the place here lately, but just started to feel like fall. This is definitely my favorite time of year.

Eclectic Summer Porch
Even though our porch could use some improvements, I still enjoying changing out the decor season to season. I didn't do much with it this past spring, since it has been very rainy, but here is how I dolled it up for summer, just in time for the 4th of July.
I would ideally love to paint our siding gray and give the trim around the door a crisp coat of white. I'd also love to add some shutters and window boxes. At this point we aren't sure how long we plan on staying here, since it is getting pretty cramped inside, so we have held off on doing any work to the exterior for the time being.

Outdoor Thanksgiving Table Ideas {Fall Back Patio Tour}
Last month, I shared a guest post over at Yellow Bliss Road with my never-gonna-happen-in-this-lifetime-unless-I-move dream of hosting a Thanksgiving dinner outdoors. It is already very chilly here in Western, NY, so we will be spending the day indoors, but I wanted to share the post here anyways, in case it might inspire some of you who live in a warmer climate than I!

Fall Home Tour 2014
Welcome to my fall home tour! I have been anxiously awaiting this day for weeks (well months if I were telling the truth). I love fall, and I think this season makes me fall in love with my home all over again. The crisp air, beautiful leaves and feeling that autumn evokes, awakens my soul with inspiration.
Today, I am excited to be part of the 2014 Fall Tour of Homes hosted by Cherished Bliss. If you headed over from my sweet friend Danielle's home of Finding Silver Pennies, I am so happy you came my way! We live in the small town of Mumford, NY where fall is pretty glorious right now.
If you are new here…I am so happy you stopped by today! If you are returning…you know I love having you. If you can believe it, in my seven years of blogging, this is my very first fall home tour post!

Halloween Burlap and Scrap Fabric Ghost Family
Halloween will be here before we know it. Time to get those spooky decorations out or make your own! My mom and I made this family of friendly ghosts (to replicate my husband, myself and our two little ones), in one afternoon, back in 2012. This is a no-sew project…hooray! I know how everyone loves those.
I am sharing how we did it today as part of my {a look back} series. We made these right after my son Owen was born, when I wasn't doing much blogging. I love giving you "a look back" at these projects now and hope that you enjoy them as well.

Rustic Bohemian Patio Makeover
Earlier this week, I shared the before and after of my porch and patio that I was able to get all spiffed up for fall. {Click here if you missed it and want to see the "Before" first} Today, I am sharing more details of the patio itself, that I decked out in rustic bohemian flair. I was kinda hating on this space before, but now I love it!

DIY Outdoor Storage Organization {Without a Garage or Shed}
This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with
Pollinate Media Group® and Rubbermaid, but all my opinions are my own. #PMedia #FallFixUp http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
One of the most difficult quirks about some older homes, is that they lack in adequate storage. Our home, is no exception, and one area where we especially struggle is outdoors. We have no garage or storage shed. We have a large covered patio at the back of the house and a smaller porch area off of the mudroom. And that's pretty much it.
Is there any hope for those of us in this situation to get our outdoor space organized?
Since we are constantly working on our home, the small porch area has sadly become a space for anything and everything. I have long wanted to create a designated trash and bottle & can storage spot, and finally decided enough was enough. With fall on the way, now was the time to do it! Cold weather will be here before we know it, so I had to take advantage of a warm summer weekend. Don't you love when you finally get the motivation to do something you have put off for years?
First, I suppose, I have to show you the porch before. But I must warn you: It. Is. Scary.

Vintage Inspired Patriotic Book Page Wreath
With Labor Day, just over a week away, I thought it would be a great time to give you a diy tutorial that I originally shared at Yellow Bliss Road. I made a vintage inspired patriotic wreath from old book pages, just before Memorial Day, and used it for display on the 4th of July as well. It will be taking center stage on our front door, once again, as Labor Day rolls around.

A Visit to a Country Farm
Last week, the kids and I had the opportunity to visit a friend of mine down on her farm just over a half an hour away. Hazel and Owen were so excited to go and see "all the animals," and I was excited for some adult chat with my friend Julie while our children played.
Julie and I went to high school and college together and had plenty to talk about since both of us are stay at home moms with two kids, and she recently joined the blogging world. I was also looking forward to photographing some of the beautiful surroundings and farm animals, but alas, children can foil some of those plans. Owen was pretty shy and insisted I hold him all throughout our tour of the barn.Tuesday, July 1, 2014
4th of July Porch and Wishing you a Happy Holiday!
Fourth of July is just a few days away, so I thought I would wish you a happy holiday and share some pictures of our patriotic porch. And by "patriotic" I mean, a flag, a wreath, and a some red flowers.
That counts right?

Cabin Dreaming & Summer Wishes
Lately I have had a serious case of cabin fever.
Not the kind where I have been stuck inside.
I have been getting out plenty.
